Chimaira is a groove metal band from Cleveland, Ohio (US), formed in 1998. They are said to be part of the New Wave of American Heavy Metal and have sold more than a million albums throughout their career. Chimaira has released seven studio records and endured numerous line-up changes, leaving vocalist Mark Hunter as the only original member.
